To provide certified rishta and matrimonial matchmaking services, Humsafar Love collects personal information provided directly by candidates or their verified family representatives:

  • Account Registration Data: Name, age, gender, email address, phone number, and location.
  • Rishta Profile Metrics: Educational qualifications, career background, religious values, community/caste, family background, lifestyle habits, and partner expectations.
  • Verification Records: Government CNIC / passport copies and live selfie images strictly used for verification purposes.

2. CNIC & Government Identity Verification

Humsafar Love enforces mandatory 100% identity verification to guarantee that every profile represents a genuine marriage seeker:

Important Security Note: Identity documents uploaded for verification are processed in an isolated, encrypted vault and are NEVER visible to other users or third parties.

3. What Other Families Can See

We understand the importance of modesty and privacy in matrimonial searching. Nothing you enter is visible to anyone outside our team until our team has verified your rishta and chosen to publish it. Publishing is our decision, not an automatic step. Once a rishta is published:

  • Other families who have themselves been verified can see your photographs, your first name and your age.
  • Your full name, phone numbers, street address and income are never shown to them. Only our team sees those.
  • Photographs are served over links that expire within minutes and are never published to a public address.

4. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used strictly for legitimate matrimonial matchmaking purposes:

  • Reviewing and moderating submitted rishta profiles before publication to maintain community safety.
  • Powering verified search and matchmaking filters (age, city, education, profession, sect, preferences).
  • Delivering privacy-shielded profile previews with temporary expiring image URLs.
  • Providing matchmaking agencies with dedicated verification and onboarding assistance.
  • Detecting, preventing, and taking swift action against fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized behavior.

5. Data Sharing & Security Encryption

Humsafar Love does NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to marketing agencies or third parties. All communications are protected by 256-bit SSL encryption.

6. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You retain full ownership of your data. You may request profile modification, export of your information, or complete account and profile deletion at any time via your account settings or by contacting privacy@humsafar.love.
